Would you like a place like that? What if I told you there is a place online that you can get all that I described and more and it won’t cost you anything to join?
This online place I’m describing is call SOAPM. SOAPM stands for the section on administration and practice management and it is a resource from the AAP that all APP members can enjoy. Normally, the fee is just $30 dollars to join, but right now, they are running a promotion and offering a free membership.
SOAPM’s mission is to impart both basic and cutting edge administrative and practice management innovations that will improve the state of pediatric administration and practice management for its membership and members of the AAP. Pretty cool huh? But you’ll get much more than that.
SOAPM membership is open to all AAP fellows and residents of the Academy with an interest or active involvement in pediatric administration and practice management. Affiliate membership also is available to practice administrators and non-practice administrators who is employed in a position related to pediatric practice management.
If you are in private practice, you need to join SOAPM. Trust me! You’ll thank me later.
If you are still not convinced, take a look at this blog post that this very smart guy wrote: 20 reasons why you should join SOAPM.
