Episode 2: Quick And Dirty Tips, Lessons Learned Moving From One Practice Management To Another

Back by popular demand.

Chip an I had so much fun recording our conversation about patients recalls, that we decided to get together again and record another awesome video.

This time we talked about lessons learned when dealing with tech transitions, like a practice management system or an EMR.

Some of you know that we moved our practice management system over to PCC. So Chip was curious to know how it had gone and if there were any lessons, mistakes or anything else that jumped out during the transition.

I came up with six observations. Some were lessons learned others were tips. Chip added three more observations for a total of nine quick and dirty tips.

I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as we enjoyed recording it.

By the way, we’d love to continue getting feedback. As you can see, it is an unpolished project still in the beta stages. Also, we plan on making this available in MP3 and podcast format so you can download them and listen to them on the go.

Enjoy.

  1. Fellas,
Always refreshing to see experts in the field willing to give away their expertise. Even more inspiring to see pediatrician advocates on the cutting (and not the bleeding edge) of EMR technology as well as new media.

May the ROI benefit you both ten-fold more than it will benefit those who sit through the half hour of ideas. When you hire a video editor, the wisdom will be available to docs in the time it takes them to finish their “morning constitution.”

    Charge us then.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

We will see where this goes. But Chip and I have a genuine passion for helping people out. And that is truly the intent of these webcast. To spread the love, so to speak.

      Brandon
